Daria joined our clinic in November 2024 in the role of veterinary assistant. Since childhood, Daria has dreamt of working as a veterinarian. In 2014 she realized her dream after graduating from the Kharkiv State Veterinary Academy in Ukraine. Daria’s focus of practice in Ukraine was in emergency medicine. Daria loves all animals, with cats being her favorite – especially ginger-colored cats. When Daria arrived in Canada, she settled in Winnipeg. After getting to know the Selkirk area, she is hoping to move here one day. She really enjoys the small-town lifestyle; camping and fishing (in the summer).
The process of acquiring certification and licensing to practice veterinary medicine can take several years, or more. Daria is committed to one day obtaining her Manitoba veterinary medical license and taking care of all your furry friends.
